OVERVIEW Aquafina® Major League Baseball® PITCH, HIT & RUN™provides youngsters across the country an opportunity toparticipate in an exciting baseball skills competition.This national initiative gives boys and girls, ages 7 - 14,the chance to showcase their pitching, hitting andrunning abilities.PITCH, HIT & RUN™ is intended to encourage youthparticipation and emphasize the "FUN" element ofbaseball. Since there is NO registration fee, everyonehas the opportunity to participate.PITCH, HIT & RUN™ tests three of the most fundamentalaspects of baseball - pitching, hittingand running. PITCH: Participant is testedthrowing strikes to adesignated “Strike Zone” target.
HIT: Youngster hits a ball off astationary tee for distance and accuracy.
RUN: Youngster is timed, starting fromsecond base, touching third then home. All of the events are individuallyscored and converted to a total pointscore through the use of conversion tables. Boys andgirls compete together at all levels of competition. Participants will compete in each of the three components of PITCH, HIT & RUN™, and accumulate a total scorebased on his/her performance. COMPETITION RULES • All participants must provide a copy of a valid birth certificate or baptismal record at all levels of competition. • Each youngster may participate in only one localcompetition. Competing in more than one local willresult in disqualification of that individual. • No metal spikes are allowed during any portion ofthe competition. • In the event of a tie for the All-Around Champion, the youngster winning more individual events (Pitching, Hitting or Running), among those involved with the tie,will be named the All-Around Champion. If a tie stillexists, the youngster with the higher Hitting scoreamong those involved with the tie, will be named theAll-Around Champion. If a tie still exists, the Runningscores of those involved with the tie will be used todetermine the All-Around Champion. There is notiebreaker in the individual skill events. • In the event of threatening weather conditions,cancellations and rescheduling will be determined bythe hosting organization at the competition site. • Major League Baseball®, LEJ Sports Group and statecoordinators and organizers of the PITCH, HIT & RUN™competition reserve the right to make rulings andrecommendations regarding the competition eventsdetermined to be in the best interest of the program.All rulings and recommendations are final. • Participation in the PITCH, HIT & RUN™ competitionauthorizes Major League Baseball®, Pepsi-ColaCompany®, and LEJ Sports Group to use participant'sname, likeness and other personality rights for promotional use without compensation.

LEVELS OF COMPETITION
PITCH, HIT & RUN™ is a national grassroots programthat has four levels of competition - Local, Sectional,Team Championship and National Finals.The first level is of a LOCAL scope. Everyone mustparticipate in a local competition in order to advance tothe higher levels. Champions at the local level advanceto SECTIONAL Competitions. At this level, the SectionalAll-Around Champions become eligible to advance to theTEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS, which are held during Junein all 30 Major League Baseball® markets. Theculmination occurs at the NATIONAL FINALS, held in New York, NY at the 2008 MLB™ All-Star Game®.
HOW TO ADVANCE
Each youngster MUST first participate at a localcompetition. The 1st Place All-Around, Pitching, Hittingand Running Champions in each age group advance tothe Sectional competition.At the Sectional competition, the youngster must be a 1stPlace All-Around Champion in his/her age group inorder to qualify to advance to the Team Championship.The Sectional All-Around Champions' scores arecompared with the other Sectional Champions' scores inthat respective MLB™ team market. The Top 4participants in each age group advance to the TeamChampionship. The Sectional Champion does NOTautomatically advance to the Team Championship.After the Team Championships, the All-Around Championsin each age group are ranked nationally by total score. Thechampions' scores from all 30 team markets are comparedand the top scorers in each age group nationwide advanceto the National Finals in New York, NY. |

I hereby authorize each of the entities listed above to depict in perpetuity my likeness, image, name, signature,and other indicia of my rights of publicity ("Images") in photographic or other works appearing in any and all media for purposes of promoting, advertising, ormarketing current or future events related to baseball and PITCH, HIT & RUN™, and I agree that such images may be used for that purpose without compensationI hereby certify that my child has not participated in any other 2008 PITCH, HIT & RUN™ local competition and will abide by the rules and regulations of such event, andthat the information stated on the entry form on the reverse side is true. I acknowledge that any violation of the previous statement shall result in immediate disqualificationof my child from the event, and I agree that my child and I understand the levels of advancement set forth for the PITCH, HIT & RUN™ competition, and that he/shedoes not automatically advance to the Team Championship level upon being declared a Sectional Champion, and that being declared the Team Champion does notautomatically mean advancing to the National Finals at the 2008 MLB™ All-Star Game® in New York, NY.
